Metric used to evaluate results, especially in an ecommerce or on a web page. It is the percentage of users who perform a specific action - or conversion -, be it making a purchase, a download, a registration or a reservation. To calculate the conversion rate, the number of users who completed the action or converted in a given period of time is divided by the total number of visitors to the website in the same period.
