Examples of engagement metrics are, for example, page views per user, time spent on a site, comments to a post or the number of subscribers, if we are talking about a website or a blog. In the case of Twitter, the number of replies, retweets, quotes and favorites are considered engagement metrics. Likes, comments and shares are measured on Facebook. And on Instagram, likes and comments are evaluated. In email marketing, the most popular engagement metrics are the open rate or the percentage of unsubscriptions.
